South Africa: Alive with possibilities

Its rich mineral and other natural resources has made South Africa world-renowned as a supplier of gold, diamonds and platinum, as well as quality agricultural products. It is rapidly becoming the world's favoured tourist destination. South Africa's economy is also appreciated for its world-class financial services sector, a burgeoning automotive sector, and a huge and diversified manufacturing base. This base covers from processed food, textiles and clothing to more advanced electronic goods for defence purposes.

The quality of its service can be seen in a variety of sectors, from nursing and medical care to the hospitality sector, which is dominated by global brand names as well as locally developed hotels and game reserves.

South Africa provides top class tertiary education in fields as diverse as medical science and engineering, iternational law, and humanities. Its business schools provide internationally acclaimed training and education, with many having partnership agreements with leading global institutions.

Its people exude a warmth and personality very different from other parts of the world. It has produced two Nobel Literature Laureates, four Nobel Peace Prize winners and countless accolades for its music, culture and conservation efforts.
