Child Passport The following documents must be forwarded (original form) to the Department of Home Affairs, Pretoria, via the Embassy in Muscat: • BI-73 - Application for a passport or travel document • BI-529 - Determination of citizenship status • Copy of birth certificate • Copy of parents marriage certificate, and passports • 2 x passport size photographs (click here for details) Notes on BI-529: The child's parents must complete sections A & B, and the child's grandparents must complete sections C & D. Fees: Are subject to change and applicants should check with the Embassy when they apply. It takes approximately three (3) to four (4) months to issue a child passport.
